The Osmonds have left the Island

Eileen, Carol, and I went down for a morning snorkel (Carol has her prescription mask and borrowed a snorkel from Mandy) while Glen and Mandy finished up the dirty deed of packing. Much better visibility this morning and a good sun angle for photos. Eileen found a nice juvenille Queen Angel that was pretty shy but I got an Ok photo of it, although the focus is just off, but the way he was moving it was the best I could get.

There you go Melissa, a pretty one......I spent a lot of time hunting for a Scorpionfish and finally found one that was sitting pretty nice for a picture. He was hiding behind a solitary fan coral. They're hard to find but once you spot one, they depend on their camouflage and do not move.

Loaded up the car and headed to the airport. Stopped at the bakery where Glen picked up a couple of sandwiches for them to eat at the airport. Dropped them off, and said our goodbyes. Since we had a couple of hours before we would know about Carols luggage we went up to French Harbour and picked up a bit more cash at the bank. Went further up the road and stopped in at a place called Six Huts, where we wanted to show Carol the views. Because it was a cruise day, there were dozens of vendors set up that were begging us to come to their booths. Still nice views. this one shows the gorgeous ocean colors with the Black Pearl golf course in the left distance. Again, pictures do not do justice to the colors.

Carried on just a bit further and found an eatery we were looking for called Cal's Temporary Cantina, which has been getting great trip advisor reviews. We just might have to add to the positive reviews. Terrific views from the top of the ridge looking down over Pineapples villas and what was once the Sante Wellness Centre, where Eileen had a spa day a few years ago. The food was great too, Eileen had lionfish fingers and Carol and I both had a smoked pork chop. The ladies finished with fresh lime pie which was also terrific.

Back to the airport and after a bit of a wait, out came Carols luggage, so now we're all happy campers, except maybe Glen, as we watched their plane getting pushed back from the gate to prepare for takeoff... On the way back we picked up a couple of things at the grocery store and then stopped at West End to book dives for the morning. Finally going to get in the water with my long awaited dive buddy. We had planned to do this a few years ago but family commitments came up, But now, we're going diving tomorrow!
