Everyone but Mandy went out for a morning snorkel, it's too bad the boat traffic is such that the silt stays stirred up, even if it's only a bit. The snorkelling is always good but would be so much better with a bit more water clarity. Not too much new was found, although I did finally get Eileen's angelfish in some good light.
Glen and Mandy took off on foor for lunch and a snorkel in West Bay while Eileen and I took off for bread, gas, a few groceries, and the airport. Mandy loved the snorkelling, especially when they got out to the wall. Her best sighting was either a four foot sea snake or a Sharptailed Eel. We did our errands and got to the airport just when the United passengers were getting into Immigration. It wasn't too long before we got a big wave through the windows and we knew that Carol had made it. We did get a bit concerned when a lot of passengers made it out the final exits and Carol had not appeared. We spotted her again and she gave us a shrug of her shoulders; no luggage. She had not made her connection in Chicago but she had already been confirmed on the next flight out of Chicago before she had left Winnipeg, but I guess her luggage didn't quite keep up with her. We have a supervisor number to call tomorrow to see if he has tracked it down yet. Hopefully it comes on the next United flight, which will work well because we'll be back at the airport tomorrow with Glen and Mandy. Regardless, it's great to have Carol here, we're happy she made her connections and arrived on schedule.
Showed Carol around the house and beach, had a couple of beverages, and then did the final supper thing at the Thai place in West End. Ran into John and Barb in the West End parking lot and told them that we were planning to have dinner at the place they manage either tomorrow or Friday. They told us to call them for reservations, which we'll do tomorrow for sure.
A few pictures from the deck:
