It's still cloudy

Another day with mostly cloud and just a bit of sun and heat in the afternoon but still dead calm on our side of the island.  The breeze is supposed to shift back to the east tomorrow afternoon so maybe that will bring some good weather with it.  The forecast actually looks pretty good.
Did two dives today, but this time Eileen stayed home and did a bit of exploring,  She took a different pathway and found a much shorter trail down to West Bay.  As for the dives, the best sighting was a spotted eagle ray that drifted past us, maybe 20 feet above us.  Took a distant picture for evidence, but it's much too far away.  We did find another black spotted moray, but there was a nice little current on this dive, so while the diving was pretty effortless, it was a lot tougher to get good pictures.  The only one worth putting up is a lionfish. Almost all the lionfish are white with some black stripes but this guy was black and orange.  I don't think I've seen one like this before.
It's really slow at the dive shop, there were three of us on the first dive but the other two were doing some lessons, so it was just me and the second dive master on my dive.  On the second dive, it was just me and the dive master on the boat.
It was a budget day today, three meals at home.  Popped into West End after diving and picked up a bag of tomatoes for 35 lempiras.  Other than that, it was a pretty cheap day.  Need to hit a grocery store to replenish our briguette supply before we bbq again, but that shouldn't be too hard to accomplish.
Started up the computer this afternoon and caught up with Dylaina on skype.  Gave her a dizzying tour off the house as I tried walking the laptop around all these corners and stairways.  The views from the decks were killing her.....When we were on the second level, I spotted a black gecko out on one of the balconies, I've never seen one of these guys before (doesn't look so black in the picture as he did in real life)
I keep calling these things geckos but the green guys are actually anoles.  I'm not sure what this black guy really is.  He sure has fat toes.
No plans for tomorrow.  If it is still this calm I'll probably try snorkelling off of the palapa that is just down at the bottom of our hill.  It is a bit challenging getting out of the water, but high tide should be about 8:30 tomorrow, so this could be an early morning snorkel.  Eileen isn't sure that she's going to try it here but Shawnda says it's better than West Bay so maybe she'll be convinced.
