I went out for the early dive, it was a nice drift dive from the mooring that is right in front of the house. There was a good current down there, so we just did a drift dive, with the boat picking us up maybe somewhere in the quarter to half mile distance down the shoreline. Not too many critters today, although there were a couple of nice turtles. I didn't go out on the second dive, but Glen went on the boat and did a snorkel. He just loved it. Said it was one of the best snorkels that he's ever had. I was so happy that he had a good one after yesterdays relative disaster with Eileen and Mandy on the boat.
We went for a mid-afternoon hike down to the Barefeet Bar for a Monkey Lala. Glen had gone down there by himself on Saturday but they were closed. We got there today and they were closed again. The fine print on their sign says closed Saturdays and Mondays.......we'll have to remeber that. So we turned back and stopped in at Fosters, which is one of the happening night spots that was under renos all the time we were here last year. It's a big building built out at the end of a pier. Beautiful spot, but their Monkey Lalas didn't cut the grade according to my panel of judges.
Home cooked supper of shrimp marinara pasta with salad and garlic toast. A good economy dinner to help bring the budget back into line. Not to mention helping to cut into the five pound box of shrimp that we still have in the freezer....what were we thinking......
